Quick shipping, works great! They only had one size left in inventory as the fellow who makes them has passed away. (His widow filled my order). Mine had to be modified a bit when I got it as it was a little long for my size mailbox. It wasn't a big deal to do that and it solves my problem of reaching the mail in the back of the box!

Works perfectly for my mailbox. We haven't had any issues with small packages fitting with the slider in the box, and it's really nice being able to reach our mail... finally!

Master Craftsman turns Inventor in his Golden Years

Hello, My name is Lawrence "P.I." Crabtree . I've been working since I was nine years old, After a lifetime working in the construction business, I've worked my way from home building to overseeing million dollar projects, I can hand-craft just about anything you can imagine. But designing my own product has always been a goal of mine.

Living in rural Southern Illinois, I noticed hundreds of mailboxes that were out of reach and inconvenient for residents trying to gather their mail when they pulled up in their vehicles each day. That's when I thought of the Mailbox Slide-n-Glide.

You just place it in your mailbox and each day the slider will help pull your mail towards you from the back of the box with just a fingertip. I make each one by hand from recycled plastic. My business partner Jan Jansco helped take my idea and plans one step further and eventually we were able to get a patent. It was a dream come true.

I'm having a great time with this project and hope it helps make many folks happy. Thank You! P.I. Crabtree-
